Discussion of merger analysis completed by Dave Gossett to be the focus

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – An analysis was conducted by Dave Gossett of Consulting Solutions on behalf of Snohomish County to look at potential merger issues if a decision were to be made to consolidate the Snohomish Health District into the county. This analysis was presented to the Snohomish County Council earlier this summer, and the Board of Health will have a similar presentation and discussion and its next meeting on Tuesday, August 8. The meeting will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the District’s Auditorium located at 3020 Rucker Ave, Everett, Wash.

The Snohomish Health District Board of Health will convene into Executive Session for purposes of:

  • Discussion of collective bargaining matters pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(a)
  • Evaluate qualifications and performance of an applicant for public employment pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(g).

Executive Session is expected to last 20 minutes.

The Board will reconvene in regular session at ____________ p.m. and is not expected to take final action.
